Overview

Nagi is a smartpool technology system designed to digitize swimming environments and improve safety and user engagement through real-time tracking and data visualization. It connects swimmers with lifeguards and provides real-time metrics about swim activity, helping prevent accidents and enhancing the swimming experience.

The Problem

Traditional pool environments lacked digital support for tracking activity and ensuring safety, relying on manual vigilance and no real-time system to monitor swimmer immersion or performance. This limited both safety and engagement for users.

The Need

The project required a clear brand identity and a cohesive UX/UI design for a suite of digital products tailored to two distinct user groups: swimmers, who needed real-time activity tracking and performance insights, and lifeguards, who needed intuitive tools for monitoring and ensuring safety during use.

My Contribution

As Design Lead, I created the visual identity and brand foundations from scratch, including logo, typography, colors, and visual language. I also led the UX/UI design for the user-facing applications tailored to swimmers and lifeguards, delivering mockups and design solutions for mobile, tablet, and smartwatch platforms. My work involved close collaboration with the product, development, and leadership teams to align design with the product’s safety-driven mission.
